  We are thrilled to host EFT "Extended" Core Skills Training right here in Pittsburgh!

  What is Extended Core Skills?
  Core Skills is a powerful, in-depth training series for therapists (48 hours) who have completed the EFT Externship and want to deepen their skills in Emotionally Focused Therapy. Led by ICEEFT Trainer Cindy Goodness Zane, this training provides a supportive, experiential environment where participants can:
  ✨ Refine their EFT interventions
  ✨ Practice skills in real time
  ✨ Receive expert feedback
  ✨ Connect with a vibrant local EFT community

  • Pay in 2 separate invoices (Fall payment is due at time of registration and Spring payment is due by February 15, 2026).

  We know things come up, so our cancellation policy is as follows:

  • Before September 1, 2025: 75% refund
  • Between September 2-October 1, 2025: 25% refund

  Jef Slootmaeckers  is a certified EFT therapist, EFT supervisor, and EFT trainer. Jef is the director of EFT-Belgium. He specializes in EFT and violence and explores ways to approach intimate partner violence from the perspective of attachment and love. He teaches training courses around the world and in Belgium.   About Rachel Thomas, LMFT:

  Rachel Thomas, LMFT, has been a practicing therapist since 1997 and is a Certified Emotionally Focused Therapist, Supervisor, and the Arizona EFT Trainer. She is passionate about helping couples, individuals, and adult families build stronger connections through therapy, and she also facilitates Hold Me Tight Couples Workshops and offers two-day EFT Intensives for couples and families seeking transformative experiences.

  An AAMFT Approved Supervisor since 2005, Rachel has guided many therapists through their licensure journey. She provides ongoing clinical supervision and consultation to the team at Therapy With Heart and to EFT clinicians worldwide who seek additional training and support. Her leadership in the Arizona Emotionally Focused Therapy (AzEFT) and Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) communities is significant, most recently having served as President of AzEFT for four years before transitioning into her current role as the Arizona EFT Trainer.
